First Signs of Fall

Nana & Papa sent Kaia and Kiersten shirts and socks to help celebrate this time year. Kaia was very excited to open the package and Kiersten was excited just because Kaia was excited. The first thing they did was put on their socks.

The girls and I went to a corn maze this weekend that also had a hayride and bonfire. This was the first time Kaia ever had smores - she actually ate them. I thought they were too sweet. Kaia and Kiersten liked playing in the haystack also. Kaia is good to take Kiersten under her wing and Kierten jumps right in to do whatever Kaia is doing. I wonder if it will stay that way??

I went to a funeral Sunday afternoon. My neighbor, Amanda, passed away in her sleep last Thursday from complications of Lupus. Kaia was very concerned about where she was now so we were able to talk about Amanda being with Heavenly Father and Jesus now and that she wasn't hurting anymore. It makes you think about a lot of things. She was only 6 mos older than me. It makes me appreciate the blessings I have and that I have no health problems.
